Bill Cosby Found Guilty Of Sexual Assault

After years of fighting in court, the victims of Bill Cosby were able to celebrate when a jury determined that the 80-year-old actor was guilty of sexual assault .

Cosby Accused Of Drugging Women In Philadelphia Suburb Home

In this currently lawsuit, Cosby was accused of drugging Andrea Constand in his home. She testified that he slipped drugs into her drink, causing her to become dizzy and weak. Then, he sexually assaulted her. The assault occurred in 2004.

The case previously went to trial and eleven months ago, when the jury announced that they were deadlocked, the judge declared a mistrial.

Constand Isn't Alone In Her Accusations

To date, more than 60 women have come forward, alleging that Cosby sexually assaulted them over the past five decades. In almost every case, the attack began when Cosby invited the woman over for dinner. Then, after having a drink, they realized they had been drugged.

Cosby himself admitted to giving women that he wanted to have sex with Quaaludes while under oath during a deposition in 2005. In fact, he admitted to obtaining a total of seven prescriptions, all to be used for that disgusting purpose. The records were made public in 2015.

Today, those 60 women are relieved to know that justice has finally be served. Although he has yet to be sentenced, he faces 30 years in prison.
