Philadelphia Police Arrest Suspect In Sexual Assault Case

The Philadelphia police have announced that they have a man who they believe assaulted a 17-year-old girl at a SEPTA station in custody.

17-Year-Old Sexually Assaulted At Gun Point

On July 3rd, 2018, a 17-year-old girl was waiting on the southbound platform of Philadelphia's Broad Street Line when her life was forever changed. A man approached her, held her at gun point, and forced her to perform sexual acts.

He then fled the scene.

While it didn't help the victim in the moment, security cameras were able to capture the suspects actions and face on camera. Police immediately posted the suspect's photo online and asked for the public's help. One day later, officials announced that they had the suspect in custody.

The teenage victim will have to live with this horrific event for the rest of her life, however, hopefully she can find a sense of relief knowing that her attacker is behind bars and unable to hurt her or anyone else.
