Two More Women Accuse Magician David Blaine Of Sexual Assault

In 2016, a woman who now works as a art dealer in New York, told police that world famous magician, David Blaine, had raped her in 2004 in London. According to the report she made, she met Blaine at a party and he invited her back to his friends home. Once there, he served her a drink and the pair started kissing.

She alleges that she doesn't remember the rest of the evening and asserts the Blaine raped her.

Blaine denied the allegations, saying that the sex was consensual. Metropolitan Police investigated the allegations but decided to not bring charges against the magician.

Now, Blaine is facing new allegations.

N.Y.P.D. Investigates Possible Sexual Assault By David Blaine

According to sources close to the alleged victims, two women have been interviewed by the N.Y.P.D. and both have alleged that they too have been assaulted by David Blaine. The N.Y.P.D. Special Victims Unit has not commented on the situation or confirmed the reports.

Since the beginning of the #MeToo movement, dozens of women have come forward and alleged that men in positions of power have sexually assaulted and raped them. This isn't surprising since research has shown that sexual predators often use their positions of power to intimidate and scare their victims into not reporting an attack.
